Event Vetting
WNY ABDL Group — how private events work
Welcome to WNY ABDL Group events! We're a small group of littles, bigs, middles, and everything in between that like to get together now and then and do things.
Some events — especially ones held at a private residence — require a short process we call vetting. This makes sure we're comfortable with who's invited and helps us screen for anyone who might breach privacy or safety.
Does my event need vetting? Events will usually state on their page whether vetting is required. If you're unsure, just ask the event organizer. Munches do not require vetting.
How do I get vetted?
- Know someone who's attended before? They can bring you as a guest — but they must be in attendance too. Discuss this with the host before the event so they're aware and can approve.
- Come to a munch. We hold regular munches in public places that never require vetting. It's the easiest first step — check the events page or our Telegram/Discord for the next one.
- Don't know anyone? Contact one of the event organizers and we'll try to arrange a meetup in a public place. We vet people in public as an extra safety measure — for your comfort and the hosts'.
About guests
Vetting is only for the individual who's signed up. If you plan on bringing someone, they must be marked as going on the event and also be vetted. And if you're vetted and bringing them as a guest, please tell the host ahead of time — they won't know otherwise.
Signing up for an event
Some events have a limit on attendance, so we confirm spots in a few steps:
- If you plan on attending for sure, mark yourself as going on the event.
- About a month before, confirmation messages go out to lock your spot.
- Once you get your confirmation, you're all set — we plan activities and food around confirmed numbers.
If anything changes after you receive your confirmation, please let the organizers know!
Please note
Attendance is on an event-by-event basis. Having attended a previous event does not guarantee you a spot at the next one.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out via Telegram, Discord, or by messaging an event organizer.
